The Fringe is a chance for local performers and especially young musicians to take part in the Festival and to raise funds for a local charitable cause. This year's charity is Home-Start Newark which aims to give support to families who may be struggling to cope with a variety of challenges, including post-natal illness, disability, isolation, the demands of parenting young children, bereavement, multiply births and helping families to change behavioural problems; improving relationships within the family and more.
